Being housed in a jail....Christ!

Thanks for everything, Bush!

Peak Oil has been one of the scarier things to talk about lately. Things changing wildly can't be exciting to address. Some scientists are doomsdayers saying the world will reach peak oil production this year and then the world will go into a downward spiral as less and less oil is being produced. Others with a more positive outlook say technology will come to our rescue so we don't have to give up computers, cell phones, and things like heat, and electricity.

Thanks to
Americablog.org provided this info:

"Miller left an Alexandria, Va. jail at 3:55 p.m., a jail official said.

She was released after she had a telephone conversation with the Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, I. Lewis Libby, sources said. In that conversation, Libby reaffirmed that he had released Miller from a promise of confidentiality more than a year ago, sources said."

Is this another political stunt? I wonder what is going to come out of the White House next. Supreme Court, Katrina/Rita, Brown; Me thinks another smoke-screen is appearing!

Confirmed!

After the confirmation, I wonder if those Abu Ghraib photos may not be published with Roberts on the Bench, if it goes that far.

Well, he didn't say too much but, he got 23 Dems to vote for him. We'll have to wait and see. Who knows. He seems like a really nice and thoughtful guy.

Judge Orders Release of Abu Ghraib Photos

I've been wondering if they'd ever come out. The republicans phrase saying that it will only "embolded" the terrorists seems reasonable to me. But, what isn't so reasonable is those "few" who commit the act. I personally think it goes up further up the chain: Rummy.

I just got this started up and running this morning. I hope to post daily. This blog will have all sorts of news stories on it; from the serious stories that effect everyone, to stories that are just fun or interesting. I hope you enjoy the blog.
